Beauty Shot

This simple shot is something I drink a few times a week to boost up my inner beauty!  Its made with skin and hair loving ingredients that you can find at your local grocery store!

Rosemary-The anti-oxidants in rosemary help prevent skin damage and it’s good source of iron, calcium and vitamin B6, which supports healthy collagen levels. Rosemary is also a rich source of manganese, a mineral that helps lower wrinkles and protects the skin from damage.

Cucumber-Cukes are 95% water, making them super hydrating.  They are also rich in beauty minerals silica, vitamins C, K, A and B-5!

Cilantro-This herb is a big deal at my house.  We use it in guacamole, salsa, salads, beans, roast meats, fried potatoes-everything!  A known detoxifier, cilantro is also rich in vitamin A and C.

Lemon-A good source of Vitamin C, calcium, magnesium and potassium, it also has anti-oxidant, antifungal and astringent properties that are beneficial to your hair, skin and nails!

Spinach-Remember Popeye?  He loved spinach and would squeeze open a can to save his love, Olive from Brutus!  Well, Popeye was on to something-along with a bunch of vitamins and minerals, spinach can make your skin glow!

Matcha-My absolute fave!  It contains catechins, making it a powerful antioxidant.  It stimulates and rejuvenates skin, it has too many good qualities to list here, but check out this post.

Bee Pollen-This is super food!  It has so many good qualities, including, amino acids and vitamins to protect and regenerate skin cells!
